Using cutting edge digital tube technology the display is noticeably brighter than typical LED watches and is viewable from a much wider angle.
Kyokusen means curved line in Japanese and the name describes the shape of the main display.
Each segment of the L shaped curve indicates one hour, and the circular array of lights displays the minutes.
When the button is pressed there is a brief animation of lights before the time is displayed.
